Headoniste x Septem launch a new collaboration 21 March 2021 - Posted in: They are Headoniste, Headoniste's favourites
French luxury cap brand Headoniste and ready-to-wear brand Septem have teamed up to offer a 'total white look' wedding outfit.
Septem was born in Paris in 2018 with the ambition to help women "take power" over their lives. It was created by Jessica Troisfontaine, who left her lawyer's dress to reinvent an essential of women's wardrobe, the jumpsuit.
Halfway between cocoons and armour, Septem suits are designed as real tools for women's empowerment. They are aimed at women who want to convince as much by their appearance as by what they are and what they have to say. One serves the other, not the other way around. That's the importance of a well-made, wearable garment: it must be forgotten.
Jessica designs collections of unique suits to be worn by women in all moments of their daily lives. Septem has not forgotten about outfits for 'special days'. At the request of its customers, the brand has just launched a new collection of wedding suits called "Baisers Brûlants".
A total white look for her wedding
And to offer a total look, Septem has initiated a collaboration with Headoniste, the first brand of luxury caps 100% made in France.
"Véronique Boute, the founder of Headoniste, and I met in the middle of a French fabric suppliers' show and we immediately found each other. She has an infinitely cool look and a taste for exceptional pieces. That day she told me that she was launching Headoniste, a brand of luxury caps made entirely in France. I was putting together the wedding collection and we thought a baseball cap in off-white would complement the outfits beautifully. I love the fact that this cap will de-puff any look, while still being ultra chic with its beautiful jacquard and lambskin leather peak," says Jessica Troisfontaine.
Thanks to Headoniste, the baseball cap is once again a showcase for French know-how and chic. The brand's creator, Véronique Boute, a fashion professional who worked at Galeries Lafayette and Burton of London, has restored the baseball cap to its former glory by dressing it in exceptional fabrics. Jacquard fabrics from Deveaux in Lyon, recycled wools and leathers from the great luxury houses are cut and assembled by hand in a traditional hat shop in Normandy. The result lives up to the brand's ambitions: to offer perfect caps, designed to last.
A cap 100% made in France
"The cap is a very complex product to manufacture. At a time when all brands, including luxury brands, outsource all or part of their production to Asia or Bulgaria, we have chosen to produce caps locally, in limited series, with organic or recycled fabrics to limit our impact on the environment," explains Véronique Boute. This approach appeals to a high-end clientele looking for a unique and elegant product. The brand is now distributed on its website and in concept stores.
The Headoniste x Septem ceremonial cap is available for pre-order in a limited edition of 25 numbered pieces and will ship in April.
The fabric is made in France, the leather is also of French origin and the cap is made entirely by hand in a traditional workshop in Normandy.
Price 149 euros.
