Headoniste luxury caps selected by Marques de France 28 February 2021 - Posted in: They are Headoniste
The website Marques de France has just listed Headoniste as a representative of Made in France excellence.
"Our main desire is to (re)discover the richness of our craft and industrial heritage. We are convinced that it is possible to consume more French, provided we know where and how. We also wanted to contribute to the movement of awareness that aims to take responsibility in our purchasing actions. Without falling into extremism either, as there is no question of ordering a radical change. Our desire is not to impose a doctrine but rather to encourage those who wish to take the step," explain the two founders on their website.
Selection criteria for Made in France
The site's selection criteria are based on EU and OECD-recognised prerequisites, such as the customs code and the EAN (European Article Numbering) code, which gives the barcode.
"We also take into account the labels, which are based on specifications with controls carried out by an independent authority. Finally, the research carried out to list as many brands as possible has also enabled us to select local brands that produce in France but have not taken the step of obtaining a label. This is our added value," explains Elodie Lapierre, who is also the founder of the information website science-environnement.com, which aims to provide an objective and impartial overview of current knowledge on the impact of the environment on health.
Cap 100% made in France
Unlike most French cap brands, Headoniste does not feature a few Made in France models.
All Headoniste caps are made in France, in a traditional workshop in Normandy. All the assembling is done by hand. The materials used are sourced in France, notably at Deveaux in Lyon, in Italy and in Portugal. Our iron-on products are also produced in Picardy.
Our "Petit Génie" cap jewels and "mask" pins are handcrafted by a craftsman in Ardèche.
Headoniste had its place on the Marques France website.
